Keeping with theme of smiles, hence the name. Was going to do a raccoon, but realized it was Happy Raise from the Dead Day (aka Easter). So, sense bunnies some how represent coming back from the dead and all that I drew a Bunny.
I started this one Friday, but an eventful weekend of NARFA Beatings, and rising from the dead prevent much in Studio time, though I think this has more to do with evil Saturdays (as every Saturday no matter how much I want to do art the universe prevents it). This one gave a bit of trouble and as a result I learned something new about Pastels, and a new trick. In the end, it came out looking more like paint then Pastels (to me at least). I like the effect *Grin*
Done with 2H Staedler Lumograph, 6B Charcoal Stick, and Chalk Pastels on Parchment colored archival paper. I estimate 2 hours of time spent on it.

Actualy the origin of Easter was nothing to do with "raise from the dead"/Jesus and more about sex and birth which is wherte the whole egg and bunny part comes from! So this is fitting!
