The Smile of a Fox by Ryngs

The Smile of a Fox

Ryngs

Fox + Pastel = Me Happy! *Grin*

What could it mean for a fox to smile? Made leap and bounds on my understanding of Pastels with this one. I Learned a lot! From the paper, to the application, to the mixing of charcoal with it, and finally the detail. Not bad for my second time ever using Pastels, and with CHEAP bargain-ben pastels. None the less I am very pleased with the out come. I am asking my self why I have never used this medium before?! *Grin*

Done with a 2H Staelder lumograph, HB and 6B General's Charcoal pencils, and Chalk Pastels, on parchment colored archival cardstock (don't ask me what brand, I have no idea).

Media: Chalk Pastels on Parchment Cardstock

Nice, but your black and white is better...maybe you just need a bit more contrast with your color. Still nice!
