I am back after my hiatus for personal reasons. I decided to just do something with my paints again and this time I let my hands do the thinking and they decided we will make kaiju art today!
Hedorah also known as the smog monster rises from the depths to hassle boats for their yummy pollutions.

I remember (yes, I'm that old) when this movie came out and I remember being--"Are you serious?!" But given I've watched a lot of Japanese live-action from the 80's and 90's, the Japanese have always been pretty environmentally conscious.......so, a daikaijuu like Hedorah doesn't actually surprise me in the end. XD
I think you did a really wonderful job on this piece, it looks like an oil painting! :)

I watched Power Rangers as a kid and that was basically what got me interested in kaiju and low budget movies lol Godzilla will always be my go to for rubber suit monsters.

I really like how the Ultraman series still uses people in suits for their giant monster battling! They use some CGI, but not as much as the super sentai (Ranger series) does……Ultra series still use mostly people in suits and CGI for effect work. :)
