A commission done for Marcus Roo Jones on sofurry of his character and his mate! As always a very big thank you for that!
I just noticed it's actually been quite a while since i had a picture with a natural landscape in a more prominent position like this. My first picture of the year did have elements of it to some degree, but more as a secondary thing, so really i'd have to go back as far as 2015.
In turn this means that this picture actually was rather tricky! I try and switch up small elements of how i draw quite regularly and then basically discard what i don't like and keep what i do like, and so since the last proper landscape there were quite a few differences that popped up that i now had to make work all at once. Reasonably happy with it though which is the important bit.
Also can i just say how much i love flatter landscapes like this? Spikey mountains are nice and fun and all but to be honest i think it's a fun challange to try and give an impression of distance with very little surface area on the canvas to work with.

That's an impressive landscape, very, very well done
