Eggies by Mazz

Eggies

Mazz

Look we have Great Horned Owl eggs. They were brought in due to being laid on the ledge of a school causing danger to the owls and students. That's them inside our incubator, once they hatch we'll hand feed them until they can eat on their own after a few days, then they will go outside with our foster mom Great Horned Owl, Aggie.
PROPER WILDLIFE AUTHORITIES REMOVED THEM WITH LEGAL PERMITS. IT IS ILLEGAL TO DESTROY NESTS AND REMOVE EGGS OF NATIVE BIRDS IN THE U.S. WITHOUT PROPER PERMITS.

I live for baby season.

Owls actually are feathered when they hatch, the other birds of prey and songbirds aren't tho. I'll get pics if I can either way.

They are pretty close to the size of a chicken egg. Great horned owls are a decent sized bird m
