I was in the mood to draw more chubby guys, so I decided to do the whole "design a possible alternate fursona/avatar/whatever in every species I've ever drawn" thing with a Keahi this time.
It seemed sort of fitting, as so far the only other named or recurring male Keahi is everybody's favorite overweight surfer/beach bum hyena-otter hybrid monster, Ikaika.
I have yet to decide much about this guy, whether he'll be part of the homeworld Keahi population of Keone, or one of the ones living on Demeter, or perhaps a Lightbearer Dominion soldier born and raised on Inansiana or one of the interstellar cruisers...

Very glad you like them! They are a blast to draw as well. I guess if I ever did feel the need to become one of those "only draw one type of art" artists, I'd be a Fat Animals in Underwear artist...
Nikau here is entirely new, somebody I drew on a whim because I was feeling a bit art-blocked. His species, the Keahi, are mostly represented by one-off unnamed characters, along with fan favorite Ikaika, Dominion shocktrooper Tondra, and the character that originated the species, a one-off by the name of Fierra (who actually started off as me failing to draw one of my hyena girls so I just sorta went where my whims were taking me instead, resulting in a hyena-otter hybrid creature) that first appeared in late 2015 (according to the properties of the original file on my computer) or early 2016 (according to when it was first posted)... The species design has gone through some minor revisions over the years but the pudge has remained a constant.
As a species, the Keahi have two canonically established populations--their homeworld of Keone, and a sizeable population that settled on Demeter (my universe's parallel to Earth) at some time within the past couple thousand years. I have yet to decide if they have any significant populations elsewhere, but they'd be comfortable living an any environment that could be described as "Hawaii" or "Space Hawaii".
Since you like the big guys, here's some Ikaika...

Keahi have babies that, like most mammalian creatures, are smaller, pudgier versions of themselves:

Hope that's enough links and info to get you started--sometimes I think I may need to actually set up something like a wiki for all of the characters and races and settings I hint at but rarely go too in-depth about unless somebody asks.
Wow - thank you so much for all the links, I was hoping for one. I think we have spoken before about prodigious number of characters you have, they would take a lot of cataloging.
You're welcome! I think any sort of cataloging of characters would be a tremendous undertaking, although it could probably be broken up by what world they come from and/or what stories they feature in. This would still leave quite a few characters like Nikau here whose place in the universe hasn't been decided, and quite a few unnamed character designs that were one-off things I never went back to. I'm sure it would take at least five volumes and two trolleys to catalog everything that exists so far--and then I'd crank out 20 or so more random critters in the time I was documenting everything I already have!

Always a fan of your chubby chaps.
Intrigued by Keahi I can't imagine a hyena - otter hybrid and can't find him in the plethora of characters you have, would you mind pointing me in the right direction. I have a bit of a soft spot for all mustelids having kept ferrets and briefly a weasel. We get badgers and pine martins on the farm, lovely animals but don't argue with a badger
