A pet portrait of a very exuberant dog, ready to get up and go at any cue. Such a spark!

This portrait was actually rather challenging, but mainly because I hadn't drawn such levels of detail in a long time, and frankly, I was rusty. I've been too spoiled with pretty colors and digital speedpaints! I also took a major risk by not adding in a greyscale background. Still, a good challenge overall!

Media: .05 2B mechanical pencil; 4B, 9B wood pencils, blending stumps, kneaded eraser, normal erasers.
Time: ~8-10 hours
