The year of Light marked the beginning of a new Alurian age.
It was during the Year of Light that the two-headed Lord Ryndu descended from his place in the stars, bathing the entirety of both Aluria and Baara in his wondrous light for four perfect days. All who basked in his radiance were energized and protected from the Severer, requiring no sleep nor sustenance while Lord Ryndu remained upon our world.
It is believed that Lord Ryndu came to bless the man named Noth as he traveled westward through the Krynapsys Wastes. From those days onward, Noth carried the grace and the light of the Sun God with him as he became the one and only First Emperor, personally selected by Lord Ryndu to form this Empire of Arxyna and lead it to great wealth and renown. Though Emperor Noth has completed his own journey, we still celebrate the four Days of Light every year when Lord Ryndu's gaze is fully upon the Arxyn people, hoping to earn his continued blessings upon our Empire.
