Trying to prove to myself that I can draw more than a neutral expression (...yet ending up drawing a neutral expression in it anyway)

It's a good goal for the new year. I actually sketched out two pushed expressions for this, but I only had enough energy to color in one of them.
Most of my art is for other people, so I don't find myself wanting to experiment with expressions much. Maybe I can try though.

I did get a new hardcover sketchbook for this year--I'm going to try and practice more dynamic poses and expressions.
Maybe you could get like a small pocket notebook or those notepad-like sketchbooks, carry it around with you when you go places (like if you have to wait in doctor's offices) and practice expression doodles in it. :)

I get that……..I need to practice more expressions myself. Might be a good new year’s goal. I hope you can get in some practice of new expressions! :)
Smiling neutral is like my 99 out of 100 drawings default…….. :p
