I haven't done one of these in a few years, but I thought this year would be a fun one; partially because you can see exactly when the brainrot took hold, and partially because the first half of this year was just really, really tough. Possibly one of the hardest years of my life. I didn't even feel like drawing for 6 months straight, and struggled to find things to fill the squares with. March and April are technically collabs with other artists because I didn't have anything else of my own to put there.
I had never suffered such a long dry spell before this year. I'm a little afraid that a portion of my audience has been put off by my sudden and intense launch into BNHA fanart, but I cannot overstate how thankful I am that it re-ignited my creative drive and got me not just drawing again, but experimenting and practicing many things I'd been avoiding for too long.

So it's nice to look back at this and say I ended the year on a high note, even though it started out so terrible. 🙌
