artist tile #3: seriously?

Apparently Beauty and Gasser use this particular outtake expression a lot in the "Bo-BoBo" anime series. Then again....................with the people they travel with. I'm pretty sure this expression is standard. XD

(Been re-watching this anime too much................but it makes me laugh. XD)

That expression is a requirement if you travel with Bo-bobo xD

OHMYGODYES! (Love that theme, and it's now going through my head! XD)

    love that series

Me too. I wish the anime hadn't ended so abruptly...............nor that VIZ stopped translating the manga right in the middle of a storyline. @_@

the way they translated the manga was weird :/

        • Link

It really was, wasn't it? I know they did their first volume purely to get that "Yu-Gi-Oh!" reference. But you would thing they'd just continue the story from there......no, they started in the middle of another storyline???? :/

I LOVE that anime; so HILARIOUS!

I especially liked the joke, with the "Don Patch Sword" origin, involved.

      Thanks! :D

I have watched the DVDs so many times, I have them memorized--I just wish the anime had been able to go all the way to the conclusion of the manga..........especially since VIZ didn't even translate all the manga. :)

        Ah; that's a shame.

On the plus side? At least there's the manga, that's available to read! (If you're fortunate enough, to find the entire series.)

I'd be curious to know how the series actually ended, if it had an actual ending or not. Plus the manga in-jokes couldn't be used in the anime version most of the time. Like the whole board game thing, they defeated Halekulani with the help of Yugi from "Yu-Gi-Oh!" in the manga--and other Shounen Jump manga series characters made some guest appearances (they made lots of "One Piece" jokes as well).

With the anime? At least it didn't end THAT bad!

At least it was FUNNY! (And ontop of that? Whatever happens next, is left to your imagination, from there! And sometimes, such random, funny endings like that, are actually the best way, to end various, wacky, funny cartoons!)

It was probably the first time it looked like an anime had been canceled before a final episode—they usually get to finish them (or at least create an ending) in Japan! XD

Now, manga—I know manga can be cancelled before they create an ending....... “Shaman King” is an example of that. That was a blow to VIZ translating it, because it was more popular here than in Japan. And honestly, JUMP should’ve cancelled “Bleach” instead of letting Tite Kubo drag out a painful ending! :/

                Fair enough.

But let's just say, that when it comes to things, such as cartoons & comics, it's better to be cancelled, than to be ruined.

                • Link

I cringe at everyone still saying "Bleach" was awesome, given the last few story arcs (regardless of anime "original" version or the manga version). XD

Meh; I've never seen it, so I wouldn't know.

Much like I find the original 2003 "Teen Titans" to be overrated, and depressing; especially since of that LAST episode, that COMPLETELY ruined it.

I think they should either make an alternate ending, for that series, with a happier, and BETTER ending, or they should reboot it AGAIN.

Because honestly? "Teen Titans" is overrated; with mediocre superhero designs, as well as it having been taking itself FAR too seriously, later on, with Terra, involved.

If they continue it the WAY it is, I won't watch it, as I actually find "The Annoying Orange" franchise, to be more tolerable. XD

I never cared much for the “Teen Titans” series, mainly because I grew up with the original DC comics and........I’m never a fan of that kind of humor. I’m too old for potty jokes and juvenile humor like that. Which is why that company’s “Transformers” series is one I absolutely can’t stand—I watched the whole thing and it was essentially the same overhashed and boring plots as “Teen Titans” with familiar robots. :/
