As I was looking through, Zaezar's characters and stuff, looking for one to draw...I thought, why not Viola? I'd never really drawn a Shark before and I've been trying and trying to draw more different scenes (like underwater ones). I still want to find a way to create a filter page to lay over a drawing...because when you use colored pencil/crayon/marker over something, it feels like it's ruining the image. One day I will figure out how to do this WELL and make REALLY awesome stuff.
Okay, so I scanned this and will post it without the filter page I created...because I think the colors are still a bit too dark on the filter page--but I'll include the filter page when I mail it out to Zaezar, as an optional detail. :D
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways...I chose to do Viola of all his characters, because I had a pretty awesome idea for an underwater scene. Okay....i could've gotten a fish book and made all these plain old fishies. BUT WHY MAKE THEM PLAIN OLD FISH WHEN I CAN DO POKEMON...right? XD So here's Viola exploring underwater, looking for cool things...some Pokemon are as curious as her, some don't care and some are like "what is this creature doing here???" (that Magikarp). XD I hope you like it, Zaezar and don't mind the slight bit of silliness a Pokemon environment made of the idea. :D

(I did worry if a Pokemon theme might be.....................going to far...? XD)
I was honestly flipping through the PokeDex guide thinking...I should do this one and that one............but I don't want to do all Kanto Region ones. I shouldn't have too many from Hoenn...! laughs I tried to do at least two Pokemon from every region! ;) I knew from the beginning, though...I wanted the Lileep and Cradily on the bottom, waving around...and the Staryu on the rock. :) And it does look a lot better really, than the scan...my scanner kinda destroys anything with colors. wry laugh Like the gel-pen bubbles look better on paper than in the scan!
Next time I'll draw Viola with a Marill! grin

Hoenn is my favorite region. All the water and the tropical islands! I especially love Lileep and Cradily. You cannot ever move one of those two once they get into a battle XD
A Pokemon theme is never really taking it too far with me. I absolutely love them

I love everything you can do in Hoenn...and adding the best of the X/Y games (the Amie anyways) was cool--I only wish you could have a Pokemon following you like HG/SS. But Diving...ah, gosh...I loved Diving so much in the original games--and they did not disappoint me with the revamp! :D (And I also am addicted to that darn PokeNav feature, the DexNav....................)
The new Soar feature is neat, but I wish there was really more to do with the soaring! XD

I kinda wish I knew you were going to do a pokemon theme, because I would have asked you to add a Marill into it somewhere (VIola's partner Pokemon is a Marill named Sharkbait).
I'm loving the diversity of the pokemon. That Shellder is just too adorable X3
