i'm just gonna put up another Nearht because if i put up that peacock guy without a basis of what Nearhts normally look like, people who actually care might get confused.

but this is what a more typical Nearht would look like.
he's not a very high rank, seeing as there aren't any feathers coming out from his back, but he looks like a higher rank than Xikkz [who is a Nearht character and would be in the character tab whenever i submit him]

Nearht males in a clan are ranked on the basis of how many feathers they have. if they don't have many, nobody cares about them and they're worthless. more feathers = better to a Nearht.
females are usually not on a ranking system just because they're the babymakers and what males are trying to woo.

Nearhts in general are a species of thin humanoids who seem like a mix of bird, monkey, and lizard. Vividly colored and spending most of their time in trees, they communicate through various clicks calls chitters. Their primary defensive weapon is their deafening screech, only used when one feels it's in extreme danger. They tend to not use their extremely sharp claws, fangs, or tail as weapons, as they value them more for tree climbing and surviving.
They avoid humans and don't really hunt anything larger than chicken or cat-sized prey. A horse could be prey if enough of them worked together, but they'd rather not. The less they get hurt hunting, the better.
