I am a Milwaukee fur who likes to pretend to be a kangaroo named Lilia Roo or a rainbow bori named Berrysap. I used to write transformation stories; now I mainly commission art and fursuit around the place. x)

RIP Biscuit Avenger 2020-12-29

The implosion of every major platform used by furries made me prone to isolation. I pulled away from the community I love in the name of doing the right thing. The result was beginning to feel that furry was no longer home.

Anthro New England is far from my first convention, but it made me realize I can't keep myself away from the greater furry community anymore. I miss you all. Being in Boston for the first time and talking with folks I hadn't been in contact with since said implosions made me realize how much I have made myself shed and forget due to growing disengagement. I even needed to relearn how to put on my fursuit, a sign that it has been far too long since the last wearing. The mental "muscles" I need to do the things I love had atrophied from disuse.

I am not yet home from the convention, but I am taking steps to reconnect with everyone I had drifted away from over the past year. Doing this will involve getting back into greater social media and hopefully getting back into writing.
