The Plum Bird is quite distinct of fruits by having a stone visable on it’s chest in both genders which makes it easier to identify from the similarly built Pear Bird at a distance. These fruits are mostly solitary outside of the breeding season preferring to lurk about in trees and defend their chosen patch for most of the year. Across the coloured varieties, it is possible to tell the male apart by the red coloured bib under their beak. Strangley on the red variation however, the male’s bib tends to be more purple in colour.

The Plum Bird has a loose base bird in the form of a Bleeding Heart Dove.

Fruit birds! Oh that's such a cute/cool idea - but who eats them? Carnivores, herbivores? :P
