Lora closed her eyes and lowered her head, her slender hands slid out of Gina's larger ones and moved around her middle. She rested her forehead on taller woman's collar as she gave her as close hug. "Your awesome."

The android flushed a little and wrapped her arms around Lora's shoulders, returning the embrace. Gently one hand stroked the smaller woman's short hair. Awesome... she had never been called that before, but it warmed her heart.

Lora sighed, pausing for a moment to finish fixing the gash before standing up straight and rubbing her eye with her palm. "Just be more careful okay? You've been off the ship what? Twice now? Look at you, gettin' all beat and torn up. One bad hit to the head and it all over. You know that right?" She tapped the side of her own head with her knuckles for emphasis.

"All... over?" A new expression moved across Gina's face, one that was both confused and afraid.

Lora's eyes narrowed slightly. "Yeah, all over. Gone. Done." She looked down with a frown, getting to work on a deep cut along G-51's arm with the specialized tools.

She was quiet for a long time, thinking, wondering to herself. "Death?"

Lora's voice was quiet this time, almost a mumble as she worked "Yeah, death."

New questions flooded her mind, but one thing was louder than them all and it was not a question, it was something new. "I do not want to Die..."

These two have known each other for a little over a month now, and they have already developed a strong bond.

Lora gave the android her new name, and is one of the few people on board the Bolsheretsk star ship that treats her like a real person instead of a machine.

Gina has comforted Lora when she's needed it, listening and offering a unique perspective to things, and Lora made Gina realize that she isn't expendable, her life is just as important and fragile as anyone else's.

Still very cute. I really like how you handled the tears in Gina's synthetic skin.
