It's very rare I ever decide to go back to a picture I've deemed finished enough to post, but I couldn't help myself tonight~ :3 So I decided to do this shinier, blushier edit to Aspen's original pic.

See, this was always supposed to be a drawing showing him shortly after being transformed; originally this was gonna be made even more clear by him having ripped, discarded clothing around him. So I figured - a big, lengthy transformation, with your body both shifting into a new shape...all thanks to sweet maple sap being pumped into your body, forcing it to fatten all over and your belly to distend... Well, that all would cause said transformed body to gain some blush, I think! A belly-blush to show how packed with sap it is, a butt-blush to show how much more 'junk in the truck' has been gained, a heavy wash of blush across his hot and bashful face...you get the idea!

As for the shine; logistically it doesn't make too much sense for a furred creature to gain a sheen, but...hey, it looks nice, especially on thick, round body portions! You could argue all that gooey, glossy maple sap spreading calories across his body might also leave his fur with a bit of a shine to it~ His leaves definitely make sense for the shine though; have you seen how shiny some plants can be? I imagine Aspen's leaves to be glossy like that. ^^

I'm curious if people enjoy this version more than the original? I wasn't sure if I went a bit overboard here or not. XD
