~ Continued from Part 1!~

'J-j-just what's going on here?!'

The Umbreon struggled as he thought this, blinking drool out of his eyes as he struggled to see down the fleshy, pulsing chute he was descending. Even those his vision was accustomed to seeing through near-darkness, the Charmeleon's dim gullet was difficult to make out anything in. He could simply see those pink walls moves and gushing and ushering him lower, kneading across more and more of his body as he felt less and less of himself outside in the open air. The Dark-type grimaced as he felt the reptile's thick drool seep and mat into his fur - ruining his well-groomed appearance, no doubt!

This day had gone from bad to worse for the Umbreon. He had had no time to hunt for food the night before, having been completely booted out of his den by an ill-mannered Houndoom. The one thing a Dark-type always had to be wary of was another Dark-type, and knowing he couldn't best the canine, the 'Bree had to waste time simply finding a new place to live. Which, unfortunately, he had never found. Still homeless by the time the sun had already risen, and much as he needed sleep, he needed to fill his belly even worse.... He was planning on just collapsing somewhere quiet afterwards.

Hunting during the day was of course difficult enough for the 'Bree even if he had been in his prime. The element of disguise, staying hidden, and trapping a meal before it even knew you existed was practically THE best way for most Dark-types to hunt, but this all fell to pieces in the sunlight... Coupled with his tired body operating much slower than he wanted it to, the Umbreon had seen every potential meal simply skitter away long before his paw stamped down on the spot the meal had been.

And then, upon admitting his defeat, and turning to go back to his new den to sleep, the Umbreon was set upon by a flash of orange darting out of a nearby busy. If he had the energy, he could've dodged...but as it was, he had been grabbed and greedily STUFFED into the creature's jaws head-first, only getting a good enough look at the predator to know that it was a particularly-chubby Charmeleon!

In embarrassed truth, the plush interior of the reptile had felt utterly surreal to the Umbreon's tired mind, and he had reacted much too slowly in his struggles to escape the situation. His backlegs had caught the ground, and he almost felt he had the leverage to pop himself back out...before the Charmeleon had thumped him 'hard' against his thankfully-soft gullet wall, the Dark-type feeling his whole body hoisted upwards and the precious ground pulled far, far out of his feet's reach!

Kicking in the air was all the 'Bree could do now, his tail jittering frizzedly in understandable disapproval to the situation! The Fire-type seemed more relaxed now - undoubtedly knowing what an advantage he had over his meal. The Umbreon sighed in partial relief as the gullet-pulsings settled down, but then realized that the relaxed passage was now 'gaping' slightly, continuing his slide with the mere fact of gravity now... He tried to catch his paws against the walls, but both they and the fleshy sides were completely slickened with drool, and he found no grip whatsoever.

Finally, his paws hit something slightly firmer. A wall? But with a seam... The Charmeleon soon responded with a light gulp, which caused this 'wall' to gape apart. The fox gulped as he looked inside - that was the opening to the reptile's stomach!

The aroma of acid clearly wafted up to the Umbreon's nose, causing him a light whimper as he continued to descend, beginning to fill into that inevitable destination. His paws finally found a place to plant - the bottom of that stomach, though it forced him to submerge his limbs in the acid half-pooled in the belly. To his nervous elation, the Dark-type discovered that this did, in fact, stop his descent - and a curious "Mwrr?" could be heard from the Charmeleon outside. The 'Bree expected the Fire-type to jostle him out of his position, or to swallow mightily and strain his efforts...but, no. The lizard seemed to simply be waiting.

It was then that the dark Pokemon again realized just how tired he was. His energy was beyond shot, and doing what was essentially a hand-stand was...quickly draining him the rest of the way! The acid oddly didn't tingle at his paws, even as he kept them submerged - in fact, the scent of the acid, while obviously there, was almost 'smooth', and certainly less harsh and not stinging his nose, like the Umbreon had expected.

At last, with a defeated groan, the Umbreon allowed his now-sore paws to buckle, splooshing him head-first into the acid below. Scrambling with the last of his energy, the Umbreon worked to pull his head out of the liquid, inadvertently having to pull more of his body down into the Charmeleon's gut to reposition properly. By the time he had found a comfortable position - a belly-up, sitting-up sort of pose, which kept his head well out of the fluids - the Dark-type was shocked to realize he had pulled his whole body into the somewhat-cramped belly!

"Thump-thump!" went something against the belly wall, and against the Umbreon's back which rested against it, sending a strangely-soothing vibration down his spine. The fox realized that the Charmeleon was patting his undoubtedly-distended belly in satisfaction. Slowly, the dark Pokemon realized he had been played: the lazy Fire-type had let HIM do half the work of pulling his body gut-ward!

"Breeeeeh..." the fox sighed, ears drooping in defeat. He was too tired to even get mad at this point, and the Charmeleon's clear happiness over having a big meal was likely impossible to dampen anyways. Flumping back against the belly he was trapped in, the Umbreon noticed with curiosity that the acid seemed to be doing absolutely nothing to his body. save for the slightest, not even painful, tingle. It hadn't even stung his eyes when his head had been submerged. It was most certainly acid, but...it just seemed very weak and diluted, likely capable of breaking down chewed-up food... Which the 'Bree, with a sigh of relief, was that had he hadn't become!

Still, it was odd. The Charmeleon had every intention to eat him, but did the lizard intend to DIGEST him? It was a strange concept, but...perhaps the Fire-type could...control just how acidic his belly got? But if this was the case, why would be want to trap him in here without actually hurting him?

A thunderously-loud growl sounded out from the Umbreon's belly, causing him to wince - and to remember. An empty, hungry belly is a terrible thing to have, and filling it up - with anything, really! - is such a great relief and pleasure. Maybe the reptile only wished to be filled and satisfied in a similar way...and digestion was not a necessary thing to satisfy this?

Still...it did no good for the still-hungry 'Bree. The fox crossed his arms and shuffled a bit, stretching out best he could in the confines of the lizard-gut. He could feel the Charmeleon moving about - and the belly swinging to and fro lightly as a result. Suddenly...SLOSH! The weak acids splashed about the Umbreon's body as the Fire-type's whole body jostled about, before settling still again.

Sputtering, and wiping the liquids from his face yet again, the Umbreon was about ready to start kicking in anger - when a familiar, guttural sound was heard from above.

"Gulp...glurk...glulp..."

The Dark-type looked upward...and was surprised as the overhead entrance to the Charmeleon's gut opened once more, and a frantic, wriggling Rattata squeaked and struggled through! It soon landed quite softly on the Umbreon's belly, who looked at it dumbfoundedly for a moment. The rodent was rather large and very plump, and was simply shivering in a mix of confusion and terror.

The fox cocked his head. Why would the Fire-type want even MORE food than him? Surely eating this rat was unnecessary...?

Unless...

Then, the Umbreon realized. This was a thank-you gift from the lizard, who had known how hungry the fox was as well. A predator caring for the needs of its prey...? That...was certainly different...

Another rumbling groaned out from the Dark-type's belly, causing the Rattata to squeak again and lose its footing atop the vibrating 'Bree-belly - causing it to flop right against the Umbreon's snout~

The Umbreon grinned.

The flabbergasted rodent's top half simply fell into the Umbreon's soon-parted jaws, and the fox quickly pressed the fatty Rattata the rest of the way into his maw with a hard push from his paw. Two hard, starving gulps was all it took to send the mousie-meal down his throat, which bulged almost painfully from the sheer girth of the plump prey. Not that the Dark-type minded - the pleasure of feeling that rodent struggling on down more than made up for the strain!

"Breeeee~" the fox sighed out, lightly and happily, as the Rattata splooshed down into his gut, instantly ending the pangs of hunger and replacing them with sheer, honest satisfaction. What a meal...!

The Umbreon's pleasure had nearly caused him to forget that he, also was a meal - though when he again realized where we was, he now...didn't particularly mind. With his hunger sated, his body's other need - sleep - was quickly befalling him, causing the fox to let out a mighty yawn. The plush interior of the Charmeleon wasn't where he had intended to rest, but...it was certainly soft and quiet here. Ironically, the location seemed safer than anywhere else the homeless 'Bree could've bedded down. After all, the only way anything could get to him was through the Charmeleon...literally!

Heck, perhaps THIS could be his new den...

The Dark-type chuckled to himself as he yawned again, nuzzling his head back against the belly wall and letting it sink slightly into the plushness. His eyes quickly closed as he dozed off into a blissful - and safely-kept - sleep.

Rena-PikaLvr over on DA drew this epic drawing up after we agreed to a collaboration. ^..^ Originally it was to just be one drawing, but this second one was made as well, which was a nice bonus! As per usual for my collabs, Rena did the lines, and I did the color and a few other effects. Thanks again for all this, Rena!

The Umbreon isn't anybody in particular - I just enjoy a good Bree-meal from time to time. ;3 Almost as much as I enjoy BEING their meal, hehehe~

Part 1 (as well as part 1 of the story) can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8864989/ I ended up making this story much more <3 <3 than I originally had intended to, but I think I like it better this way!

(Derp, I forgot to write '& Me' at the end of the titles like I always do on collab works.)
