Utterly ridiculous amount of detail — I've already lost myself in it once just flitting around and taking everything in. And the detail doesn't bring the piece down because it's nicely balanced as a whole. Fantastic work!
The light shadows cast from the little background trinkets up top make me think of the illustrations from the book MAZE; have you read it?
