3D model commission for noahsark92.deviantart.com/
Actually the second model I've done for Noah. I did another character of his earlier, but don't have any good shots of him to post. Both characters were actually done for BrawlBox, a program that lets you (among other things) insert custom characters into Smash Bros Brawl. It's not always pretty when you have to rig a character to a pre-existing character's skeleton (in this case it was Pit) but I think Nicky here came out okay. But yeah, that would explain any nasty little creases and divots in the mesh when it moves.
I didn't make this pic, actually; it was sent by Noah. It does show off that nice foot, though~ ^^ I haven't been happy with previous 3D paws, but I think I'm getting better. :>

Actually it was done in 3DS Max. ^^ Though the screenshot here I think was in Brawlbox or something.

Actual custom characters or using the Miis?

Naw Brawl didn't have Miis. People make totally custom characters like... an actual T-rex over Yoshi, adding Mewtwo into the game, random anime characters, etc. Noah wanted to put his dudes into the game so I modeled em~

I see what you mean now. The extra coding and whatnot that was fanmade to make Brawl competitive like Melee was, also adding extra stuff to learn about the game plus adding new things like custom characters =3

The SSB on Wii IS Brawl. x3 Smash 4 is on Wii U~ And yup, I think Project M might have used these same tools to re-balance Brawl's system to play more like Melee.

I'm mentioning SSB3 & SSB4 weirdly lolBut yeah thats what I was talking about. Project M did do that, though I forgot the name. I thought to make a custom character was through Project M
