Occasionally, someone has to head into nachos space to clean out his old molts, which he conveniently scatters parts of all around the place, so they are as hard to find as is physically possible in the sand dunes (Nachos space has giant mounds of sand which mimics his species natural environment). 

Thankfully the sand can be drained out sifted, cleaned and put back in autonomously, however the moults are too large to fit through the filters and the insides of them are a breeding ground for fungus, mold, bacteria and other things, as when he sheds them, they are warm, moist, and hairy, to help him slip out of them. They also come off in halves, so double the panels of armor that come off him. You can tell if nacho has shed recently as he will be mostly still and white in colour

The sand is drained out of the room and the armor stays behind on grids within the floor, making them easier to collect... Nacho is fed before this happens so hes not hungry and often greets the molt collector be it myself, Fifi or emerald, For some reason he freaks out the other two to a horrendous degree, so its often myself going in to get them. Im aware Fifi hates bugs insects or spiders, but im not sure what emeralds reasoning is, perhaps its as arachnarekos and geithmaghoss are natural enemies...
