Morning routines by Adventurer

Morning routines

Adventurer

Almost caught up on my gallery backlog! Here is a piece from March. Description from the original DA submission below:

Some bunch of doofuses, a.k.a. Lym and her housemates, each at various stages of their morning routine.

OK so technically it's highly unlikely that they'd all be lined up like this. I mean even if we ignore the fact that their bathroom wouldn't be big enough to fit all four of them in it at once, they don't generally get up at the same time anyway. Dakota in particular gets up much earlier than the others to go to work. I guess we could say they're getting ready for some special event they're all attending, or something? Yeah, that'll do.

Regardless of the logic behind it, this was honestly one of the most fun pictures I've ever drawn. I never realised how ludicrously amusing it is to draw my much-loved characters looking like idiots as they undertake mundane daily tasks. I was smiling so much while drawing these dweebs. Especially Yash. Maintaining hair that fabulous is no easy feat, folks.

(from left to right) Yash, Aleks, Lym and Dakota belong to Adventurer

Pics like this (even if they defy logic and physics like with bathroom sizes vs size of occupants) never fail to amuse me XD

(and I can totally relate to the mohawk even though mine is not nearly that big)

Ha thanks, I'm glad you enjoy it. =)

And ahh, that's cool! I've never had a mohawk myself but have always thought they look cool (and are really fun to draw!).

aww they're all very adorable together! also its always fun to see characters doing mundane daily tasks, I think artists sometimes forget about those since fantasy usually deal with ridiculous situations that are over the top.

Thank you! I must agree, it's fun to see a more "human" side to fantasy characters (even when they . . . aren't human). Honestly even though there's a bunch of ridiculous fantasy things going on in Lym's world, 99% of what I draw/write doesn't have anything to do with all that stuff, heh.
