I randomly had a dream about this dude after not really doing anything with him for years. That was odd. The last time I posted any art of him was nine years ago on DA here.

So I figured it was about time he got a new drawing.

Ambrose is a cyborg, with much of his internal body (and some of his external body) replaced with mechanical or electronic parts. Even his brain is highly computerised. In the process of his brain being modified, he lost all of his memories up till that point. Because of this, he actually prefers to think of himself as a robot rather than a cyborg. As far as he's concerned, his life began when his current memories began, so he's never known what it's like to have an organic body. He therefore thinks it makes more sense to think of himself as having been created rather than born.

Ambrose is actually pretty laid back and cheery most of the time, so I'm not really sure why I drew him looking serious in both of these pictures. Maybe that's a sign that I should draw him again, looking happier. Get back to me in another nine years and I'll see what I can do.

Also, I forgot that his shirt actually has longer sleeves, and I just drew it as a standard T-shirt. At first I was going to change it, but then I had an epiphany: what if he . . . wait for it . . . owns more than one shirt??? I know this is a very shocking concept and might take you a while to accept, but please try to be open-minded about this.
