Where else can a photographer go to get the kind of joyous surrealism that a con provides?

I kind of want a friend-con haha.

It's a combination of meeting artists i follow and meeting new people. Breaking down that barrier created by the internet.

Just being surrounded by people who understand my weirder side. X3

I think my favourite thing is just getting to simply exist among the total weirdness, at a time when you have no obligations, no pre-set script you have to follow. And you never know who you'll meet!

Meeting lots of artists I watch online and seeing skype friends in person. And this upcoming Pacific Anthro Weekend will be my first time taking my fursuit to a convention so I'm looking forward to that! I'll also be a dealer artist there, so maybe you could add an extra category to the poll saying being a dealer/marketplace artist as a reason and doing commissions and badges for people.

Networking, talking to other business owners, and seeing all the wonderful art and suits! And realizing that there are lots of people just like me. Cons really feel like home.

I just went to my first one (Megaplex) and it was the great people.
