Is It Just Me, Or...? (Weasyl) by Scheknul
Is it just me, or is Weasyl loading a hell of a lot slower now, with the new "full thumbnail" thing? Honestly, I don't think that they need to be so freaking huge. I think you could just as easily do the thing that Amazon and eBay do. Mouse over the icon, to get a full sized image pop up. It'd save server space, and data packets.
Then again, Weasyl has been loading kind of slowly for me for a bit now.

They ruined it.
SF has the same system where you hover over the thumb and you get an enlarged pop upThis is worse than something FA would do, it seems weasyl knocked this so called improvement out in less than an hour, no way any real time and thought went into it.

I think I prefer the icon version than the full thumbnails. The full thumbnails did make my internet loading slower. (This is more noticeable for someone whom has a natural 450 kb/s download and 60-75 kb/s upload speed.) And yes, there are still people that has slow internet. It does not help that our internet provider does not provide anything higher and we live in an area that only have one 'local' provider. AT&T and other popular/major internet companies unfortunately fall out of our area.

There was an userscript for the pop up above the thumbnails, etc...
But there was too many people complaining about the old thumbnail system so they did that. An option would have been better, but whatever...Right now I don't have internet, and I'll be using a hotspot with a 50kb/s download. It was already super slow for me, now it became hell...

well on mine it loads the same time as it used to but I don't like the full thumbnails so I set it to put mine back the way there where but you can't do it to the faves TwT
