Sorry for the super absence here. I've been anywhere between busy, sick or both recently so I haven't really been keeping up with anything besides Tumblr honestly x-x
Btw I have been debating if I should return to FA because I have heard it hasn't gone to hell after exchanges in ownership so there's really no reason to avoid the site anymore. Thing is as noted I'm usually busy or sick so not sure I want more sites to have to check. If you want to attempt to convince me go ahead.
On that note you can always try to convince me to join just about any site THOUGH keep in mind I'm largely a SFW artist even though my sci fi has mature themes in it so... from the get go suggesting a furry porn site probably wouldn't interest me. Its not I don't like furry porn its I'm not a huge porn consumer in general lmao. I have a libido I just... don't care for porn? Is that weird??? I really don't know anymore.

I WISH I COULD! I'm serious there one reason I get sick a lot is because my anxiety screws with physical stuff like my sleeping patterns which makes my body fart out more often than it should.
Also that is surprising! I've heard its been slow there but I guess slow is better than "site is down every 2 days and large amounts of the the staff are really fucking sketchy" so that sounds like an upgrade to me!-
Ah, I can understand those sleeping woes.
Yeah, updates haven't been happening, but nothing's bad going on, either.

FA is -ok- for the moment. I seriously doubt we will like the direction they are going to take the site.
I don't think you are abnormal. While I love my porn, there's whole categories of porn that to me, are just meh, if not disgusting.

Well that's good... for now? Hopefully it doesn't go bad but at least Weasyl is here if things go horribly wrong :U also other sites like Tumblr but the furry community isn't as strong there. Funny enough I find it pretty easy to find furry artists on Twitter. I'm... not really sure why that's a thing but its a thing lmao!
Glad I'm not too weird ^^; yeah I mentioned just a moment ago on someone else's image there's some porn that no matter how fictional it is the unfortunate implications of it makes it impossible for me to not just... be disturbed/grossed out by it. The rest is mostly meh. There's only a few categories of porn that actually turn my crank and sadly the world hates me and they seem pretty rare (like tentacle porn where its not rape. Consensual monster/anthro/alien porn is not that rare I can't understand why creatures with tentacles always have to be sexual predators ;n; )

I think it's cultural momentum at this point... the first anime tentacles appeared in was non-consentual so, the ball got started rolling in that direction.
You reminded me of the sci-fi RPG "Battlestations". Half the playable races are different varieties of tentacles. Made me seriously wonder about the fetishes of who made it. If it wasn't a stripped down tactical game, and more role-playing oriented, it would lead to just tons of alien/tentacle romances. ;p
I've actually seen quite a bit of furry tentacle pics where the character seems into it ...at least judging by her/his face, the tentacles are always anonymous from "off-screen" and grabbing everything, same behavior pattern either way. Also the "tentawolves" created by Ookami Kemono and Soryane (though they are too puppylike for my tastes, they are technically friendly tentacled creatures).
That's all the consentual tentacle creatures I know.

FA has been ok for a while. The promised updates are kinda scarce and seems to have stopped happening??? (I'm using the Beta version.. it's nice but also a bit messy.)
It needs a lot of work and it's been some time wince they announced any changes.-
:O I see! Hopefully those promises happen because the site really does need a lot of fixing up. I mean I've used site that are more broken than FA but still some things need updating. I would say the biggest marker the site is dated funny enough is the gender drop down menu when you submit an image because it uses "herm" which is often regarded a derogatory term similar to tranny and it lists transgender as a gender.
Those are kinda things you'd expect on a site in 2007 because stuff wasn't common knowledge until the last 5 years or so, its not something you'd expect to see a current site have.

FA has pretty much been doing the same that it always has. However, the summer/con season is a slow time so not much is going on there. Hope it picks back up soon.
