Greetings! So I'm back from my Birthday/BLFC vacation and sure was an eventful one! So let's begin:

Jake's visit
My boyfriend jake_lioner83 arrived in Seattle on May 8th, many thanks to daveywolficon & bloodwiser for the crash space!
So from there we took it to do many activities we didn't get to do first time he visited. To begin with, we visited the Heritage Center in Portland (next to OMSI and the brand new Tillikum Crossing Bridge) to see trains, trains and trains. Then that night we went to see Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai. I have watched a few of these already and always fun to see. And finished the night at Bushwhacker's cider.

Sunday we visited the coast along with Charlie: Lincoln City, Newport, Florence, the Sea Lion Caves and quick stops in Eugene to see friends before heading back to Portland, had to leave early to home because (as expected) I was called to work on Monday. :p But was quick visit to see FA:xanderfrost then raidy_and_dobe

Monday I actually took Jake with me to work XD Then we went to the gym and healthy dinner with shutterwolf
Tuesday I just had to do a quick work task and then we went to the Oregon zoo. Nice day to go (not weather wise) but it was $4 the entry for the second Tuesday of the month. Then dinner with doorintosummer thetrickyhusk atrayu and Shutter before heading to watch The Avengers. And this is where the title came from, I dunno how it was provoked but ended up asking Tricky the meaning of life. Before he replied, Atrayu said "42" and then Tricky replied "Pancakes" So there you go! Meaning of life: 42 Pancakes!

Wednesday we headed down to Bend, had to detour to Eugene because I stupidly forgot my 3DS at Raidy's XD There you go, for a quick visit I forgot my device for grabbing a shep. Made it to Bend late night and only had a chance to walk around the Old Mill District and the Les Schwab Amphitheater. BTW, a moment of embarrassment there (at least for me) we were taking a selfie and a random guy told us "Happy coming out!" (He said it in good intentions) XD Although Jake seemed pleased I kinda got red XD. Spent the night there and resumed at 4 AM our drive towards the Grand Sierra.

BLFC
What can I say? Was a blast! Kudos to the amazing theme! Never seen a con theme before playing so well and causing people to actually interact with it. My good friend MikeFolf was a great roommate (can't say the same for the other roommate tho, moving along!) And always good to see amazing people, to mention a few: wintersnowolf <!~paper-wings> wirefur dogbomb arrow nitroshep zarroc89 calico crashb moocifer scotty_the_minotaur bigtig and many! My gosh! I introduced Jake to so many people this con ^^ Sorry I don't mention all :p

It was an amazing time at the con and we thinking next year more likely will be back. Also celebrated my 30th birthday, thank you all for all the birthday wishes. Did go karts, dances, this, that, food, booze, shenanigans, the whole deal. Got so many photos taken and hopefully I'll have some uploaded soon. Technically had Toby (who was in the Bachelor auction) Lager in kilt (Lager 2 is finally retired) and Hornet as a ninja, Predator and in a singlet if you were at the party floor! Oh my! Also, Jake debuted his new suit I finished at the con Jake 3.0 ^^ Hopefully you all liked his new suit.

We concluded the con with an epic 14 hour drive to Seattle to leave Jake there for his flight back home. And now, I'm off to sleep.
