Unfortunately, a week before the con, I've decided to cancel the trip and not attend BLFC this year.
My dog Chloe is sick with (what we think is) Hepatitis. She requires over 7 medications a day and close monitoring and encouraging to eat, drink, etc. Chloe has been with me for 10 years now and is very dependent and bonded to me; and though she has shown improvement in the last few days, I would not be able to enjoy my time at a convention or focus on work when worrying about her back at home. At this point, I've spent all week focusing on nothing else but her so I don't even think it would be possible to finish con prep at this point anyway. Not to mention the burden it would put on the caretaker watching her if we left.
I am sad to miss out, but in the end my "child" and her health is more important than a convention. There is always next year :)

To any Pre-Order clients: I sent out an email to you, but in case you didn't get it, your badges will be available for pickup at Thornwolf's table; #52 (right next to my table), so you will still be able to pick up your badges for the con :)

Otherwise, I will sorely miss attending this amazing con, but am also a bit relieved I don't have to worry about anything else right now besides Chloe's health and well-being.

I am still planning on doing the home con Jammy Jam so anyone who wanted to commission me at BLFC keep an eye out for that, I will be taking con-type commissions for that ^^ Otherwise, for anyone else going, I will see you at RMFC :)
