Contrary to popular belief by Megan Bryar

I actually really, really suck at coming up with things to say about art I enjoy. I can ramble on and on sometimes, but only because three years of graduate school taught me how to yammer on and make it sound intelligent. A lot of the time, when I see a piece of art I really like, I'm at a total loss for anything to say. And then, sometimes, I end up neither commenting it or adding it to my favorites because I feel bad adding something to my favorites without commenting. Especially if it's someone whose work I normally comment on.

I don't know why I'm posting this, except that I've realized that there a number of artists who I really admire, but whose work I haven't commented on in a shamefully long time, and I kind of feel guilty about it.

On a bright note, I've got some potential projects in the works and, if everything works out, 2015 might just prove to be an interesting year as far as art and stories go!

Has been said in the comments. So I say noting.

I rarely comment on pix I like unless they're by close friends or they have soe thing really special that I feel I just MUST say something about. I'm one of those 'fave and run' type people for the most part.

I have that same feeling about 2015. I think it might be my most interesting and fun year yet here in the furry world. ;3

as an artist even one word comments that say the picture looks "nice" or something still means a lot to me and motivates me. I really wish people would comment more because I love feedback.
If you say nothing I won't know anything :(

True, and I try to leave comments as much as I can, even if they're pretty short ones. And I'll always comment on commissions and gifts and things of that nature, as, well, that's only fair. I just sometimes need a kick in the butt to do better.

You are delightful, and even the most babbling rambly of comments mean the world to me, and most other artists, I dare say!

Aw, well thank you. I try my best, and I'm always happy when people are happy with my comments. I just kind of feel bad when I can't think of something to say, especially when it comes to art from people whose art I really admire. But I really appreciate your kind words!
