hey guys
sorry but like....unless we are literal irl or chat all the gosh darn time outside of streams FRIENDS, i'm not gonna accept your friend requests or really even use that function of this site
and to those who are trying to friend request me and i have never spoken to you or drawn you a thing and you're a total stranger....wtf? why?

Ditto here (saw your journal through random browse). It appears that you can filter journal/art posts to "friends-only", which appears to be the only "useful" feature of being a friend. As I don't post anything I don't want public, I have no need to ask/give friends status to most. A few really close folks are and that's it.

yea, i see that's a feature which i guess is cool? but i really don't see myself using it. if i wanna tell my friends a personal thing, i have twitter shrug

That's why I took down my Skype from FA, I was getting to many random friend requests from people I didn't know and didn't even identify themselves. Not even sure why, I'm not exactly a popufur, so I can't imagine how bad they must get it.

ive gotten quite a few randos on my skype as well. they mostly just say hi once and then i never hear from them again. so whatever. i like having an abundance of chat buddies
