Decided to get straight to the point and let everyone know that I was proposed to over the weekend! arcticsilverfox popped the question and made me cry in front of a large group of people. And of course, I said yes.

And now for the story~

All happened at FAU this past weekend on Saturday. Some of us were watching the dance competition, including Arthur and me. Then he left- didn't think anything of it since he normally roams. By the time the dance competition was over with the cookout was already happening. I assumed Arthur, Comet, and Yadseut were already there, Moonstar and Nessie were dancing, and Zai and I were watching the dancers. I ended up deciding to go to the room and just chill. Yea, I turned down food- but that was because we were planning to go to Minado's Sushi buffet around 7pm. Zai went back with me, hung out for a moment, then decided to go back to his room. I was just laying there, going through stuff and Arthur texted me asking where I was. Told him the room, then he said to come to the cookout and I declined, saying I wanted to rest.

So I thought that was that. But in he came and Zai was with him (they ran into each other). He rubbed my belly and told me to come hang out with them. So, I did. It'd be fun after all. We're walking and some friends are in line, others sitting elsewhere. He brings me over to a table of some friends. He wonders off again.

"Zai, should we follow him? He sorta just left us XD"
"We can......just stay here......"

Saw Arthur stand near the Guest of Honors who were playing for the cookout (also played for 2 concerts), Matthew Ebel, Foxamoore, and Pepper Coyote. I gestured at him like "You want me to go up there?" I'm thinking it's the end of the cook out and he wanted to chat with them. He tends to make friends easily and people love talking with him as he loves talking with them. I go up there, saw Nessie with a camera and stood next to her. STILL REALLY STUPID AND NOT PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER. Gestured at to come closer. I LITERALLY SHIMMIED OVER and gave him a look of "what are you doing?" Again, Arthur has no problem with stage fright and getting people's attention. Me on the other hand? I like front row seats XD Guest of Honor starts talking about the cook out and hoping everyone is having fun. Then said something along the lines of "And our friend Arthur has something to say".

Now my mind is going 'what the hell is this?' PROBABLY GAVE WEIRD LOOKS I DON'T REMEMBER. And then, they started to play Seal's 'Kiss from a Rose'. This song is our song- it's one of our favorites and he normally request it so we can dance to it. All I kept thinking was 'did he request them to play this in order to dance in front of people?????'

Then he went down on one knee and my mind partially blanked out. It was seriously a whole lot of 'this isn't happening, holy shit this is happening'. It was like, a wave of emotions: happiness, nervousness, shock. I was so overwhelmed I had to be filled in about certain things as I sat their asking questions. I told Arthur I don't remember if he said anything, luckily he told me afterwards that he didn't say anything because everything he wanted to say completely left him. I remember his big goofy smile as he showed me my gorgeous ring. Thanks to photos I was also able to piece together what happened cause at this point I was just crying. I didn't say anything but I nodded my head and took the ring. Hugged him and told him yes at that point and that I loved him. MADE HIM CRY A BIT TOO (haha bitch :P) and sorta hugged it out while the music kept going. I DO REMEMBER HOW GOOD THE MUSIC WAS THOUGH. Matthew Ebel + Foxamoore + Pepper Coyote playing Kiss from a Rose = excellent. I don't know which one said it, I think Foxamoore, but heard them go "Since you weren't thrown into the pool I assume she said yes" X3

Got a whole lot of congrats from friends, new people I just met, and people I didn't know. Got to hang out on the grass where A BUNCH OF FRIENDS TOLD ME THE DIRTY DETAILS, LIKE HOW THEY KNEW :P Arthur planned it since last year, told Comet. Moonstar knew since like..... December? Zai found out when they met up with each other XD Got a call from Sierra with congrats as well :3 I don't know how long Nessie knew, but I am REALLY glad she opted/agreed to take pictures because they are the only record (so far) I have of this event. Also found out Arthur that he wasn't nervous UNTIL like..... 10 minutes before it was supposed to happen. ESPECIALLY when I said that I wasn't coming to the cookout XD Sorry hun! :P

THEN I FOUND OUT MY MOM DIDN'T KNOW. Which isn't bad- my mom WANTED this too. We devised an evil plan to show her, involving the day after the con to wrap my hand up in an ace bandage and tell her it is hurt and she has to check it. Had Moonstar and group with us when it happened. Confused my mom, then when she saw it she teared up, hugged me, and said "you bitch". WE ARE A LOVING FAMILY.

This is why it was such an amazing time for me. Cause man, this is a big thing for me. I can't fully explain it. I love you with all my heart Arthur and I am glad we will have a future with one another <3
