Things are slow and easy here. It's kinda nice actually.

The scene here is nice and stable. Much less stupid bullshit than FA, and overall I think the quality of the pieces here is higher due to the smaller crowd.
It's also nice that the staff isn't terrible, and they take care of issues reasonably well.

Welcome to Weasyl. It maybe smaller than other sites as others mentioned, but that's a plus in some ways. One of my friends, who I followed here, exclusively posts here and still gets enough commissioners to be able to do just artwork for her income.

The "scene" is a bit quiet, but always growing. I feel like I'm finding more interesting artists than I found on dA or FA, mebbe more of the peeps who post mostly on tumblr but in a more convenient way to follow them than tumblr.
Long and short: Place still feels very new but not a drag at all~~

I get more comments/faves here now than I do on FA. Seems this place is picking up speed, even if it is at a snail's pace. We just have to be patient for the site to grow.

I'm finding the scene here is more about artists than fandom stuff, even though there's a large furry presence. I also see fewer follower-accounts and almost all my followers are other artists. So it's different but pretty cool.
