From Teavian! I'll give you 5 questions to answer if you leave a comment saying "toy dinosaurs"!

1. How did you get ideas for Devon?
   He was originally made to be a flamboyantly sassy gay character that insisted on being called "Devahn", but it turns out I'm horribad at role playing that sort of personality, so he became more reserved and sarcastic. Brice was playing as the same character, so I ended up making changing Devon to autosexual - he's just attracted to himself or people that happen to look like him.
   Then I decided to transfer him as a character to DnD for shits and giggles and found he was super fun to play everywhere. He needed to be fast and dexterous, so I made him an elf. I honestly don't remember why I made him hate elves, other than maybe that they had just clashed with his personality and interests. The initial campaign he was in had a minor curse that made him left handed instead of right, which I just kept for everything else. There was also a curse that gave him cat ears, buuut I decided not to keep that.
   Outside of defining personal history unique to his now primary universe, edits to his character have come about from redefining elf biology. He has since developed a lot of innate physical and neuro/psychological traits that now come with all elves: heightened sensitivity to details, emotions and pattern recognition, unique social connections that other races cannot experience, remarkable patience and neutrality, and massive lifespan. He's also become a hermaphrodite (along with all other elves, which have a cloaca and phallus somewhat like an ostrich, with reproductive cycles occurring every 100 years).
   His personal history moved from just being a greedy asshole to being a stupid elf that was pushed towards psychopathy and never had any actual friends. It got real tragic real fast. His background had very few characters intimately involved in his life (excluding Birdy and Finbar, a halfling that he considered his only family) for a long time until we invented Stranger, who took Devon's natural greed, psychological imbalance and training as an army scout and bent it towards aggressive theft, thuggery and murder to Devon's psychological detriment. More recent events in his life that help define him are highly situational and often based on a dice roll - things like a near death experience due to a super crit and a successful fortitude save on immediately dying, which has triggered hallucinations and fear of death and killing.
   TL;DR: random bullshit, biology and history detailing.
   I could go into ridiculous levels of detail, but I'll save that for later relevant posts :P

2. What other art mediums have you tried?
   Pretty much anything I can get my hands on, sans metal and glassworking and I guess tattooing. A lot of my art through college incorporated the use of found objects or unusual materials for painting or mark making. I also did some screen printing and dying, woodworking, a little bit of welding, ceramics, mold making, sewing, etc.
   I honestly tend to have a lot of variety in style and medium because I get bored very easily and like a lot of challenge.

4. What kind of pie do you like? OR DESSERT
   PUMKIN PIE. It's the best pie.
   Also macarons and gelato and basically all pastries.
   I dream about pastries.

5. Did you ever have a silly username like me?
   vampire_zyexxes when I was a kid. Because I like vampires and zyexxes was a word I don't remember now in a language I made up because I've always been a massive nerd.
