What is your favourite photoshop brush? by Mondeis

I get asked a bit what brushes I use so I thought I'd post up a set of all my favourite photoshop brushes: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-DgUIVOTHUqaURXUDBlUHJzSFk/edit

I did not make these! I wish I could give credit as to who did make them, but they've been shared and uploaded by so many different artists it's hard to find the original creators.

So anyway, what brushes do you guys like to use? Have you got a favourite in particular? Or do you prefer sticking with the good ol' standard round brush in photoshop? I'm a bit of a brush collector, though I don't use many I like to collect them XD

What is your favourite photoshop brush?

I'm simple ;_; I just take this standart round brush most of the times and play arund with opacity ect..

I used to paint with low to mid opacity, these days I paint with opacity always set to 100%, and I'll occasionally change the flow. I much prefer it this way, I guess it reminds me of sloppy oil painting or something XD

For me it changes all the time and it also depends on what i want to paint. If i'm going for clean style, i love the Marker-Brush in SAI the most XD For painting...yeah. Good old standard round brush with transfer turned on seems to be my all time favorite :>

If I ever did try to ink something (inking certainly isn't my strong point), I'd most likely use SAI. I also love how some people can paint in it and make it look quite traditional, but I'm not too good with that program D:

Besides for the Inking i'm not so fond of the programm either. Photoshop is always my favorite :>
Btw. Because you mentioned it earlier. What's the difference between opacity and flow in practice?

I stick with anything watercolor'y in brush type for the most part, other than that just simple round.

    Soft round brush <3

For realism, I like my round brushes and a paint brush like brush (lol redundant much). Similar to this: http://theartofken.com/viewblog.php?blogID=tutorial-create-a-character-design-50

I like my round soft fuzzy brush.. Though I know i need to spread out and learn others for my work to look more professional.

I have different set's for different paintings, so it varies :) but I love PS brushes <3 Especially how flexible it is to customize!
