Get to know me-eeeeememe by Bitcoon

Hello to everyone who has joined me on this lovely site! It's awesome to see so much activity around here. ^^ I figured since this is going around, I'd give it a shot myself~

What's your real name?
Max

How tall are you?
1.7 meters

What's your natural hair color?
brawn

What's your eye color?
milk chocolate with hazelnut swirl

What's your orientation?
Either strange or charm. Actually, probably bottom.

Are you single, taken or undecided?
I have someone

What do you do in your spare time?
work and work and work and work and work and some video games. (work = game development, art, 3D modeling)

What's your job or occupation?
Right now, commissions I guess. Soon enough, something hopefully related to the last 4 years I've spent getting a design degree.

What do you like about yourself?
I'm a hard worker by default. I can't go a day without accomplishing something or I start to feel pretty bad.

What do you dislike about yourself?
I apparently hate fun. I gotta admit it makes me jealous when I see others crowded in a stadium or concertplace screaming their faces off, having their eardrums blasted off and having a great time, but I don't enjoy parties/concerts/bars... basically all the stuff that's the supposed height of fun for other young adults.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
I'm pretty wacky. I love to do embarrassing stuff.

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
I'm spiritual in that I definitely believe in a higher force that connects us all. I do entertain the thought that there may have been a creator, but the universe now works under a solid set of rules. If there were intervention from a higher being I think we'd have more definitive proof of that than "look, something improbably good happened once".

Do you drink?
Alcohol? Not much. Juice? ERRDAY~

Do you smoke?
No. It's bad for my circuits.

What are your major fears?
I think my biggest one is going out there into the world and discovering that all I've worked toward has made me useless to any employer.
Though... losing the use of my arm, or my sight... those would be almost as bad as losing my life.

Do you have any dreams or goals?
I think my ultimate goal is to be a successful indie game developer, working with other distinguished people in the field and making awesome games, and living off that.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
Both. Ex-wife, even. (looong story)

Who's your best buddy?
https://www.weasyl.com/~boltgamertiger I would say. He and I have worked closely on projects together since back in my high school days. I have almost no friends from that long ago.

What's your favorite dish?
Fried rice!

What's your favorite drink?
JUCE

What's your favorite color?
Uhhhhhh either red or blue. Leaning more towards blue because I like things that GLOW BLUE. ;>

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Does "being my fursona" count? His power is my favorite anyway. Being able to hop into electronics and temporarily live in them, being able to experience anything I can imagine like it's real, that would be amazing.

What's your favorite movie?
Wreck it Ralph? Orrr Scott Pilgrim...

What's your least favorite food?
canned vegetables GROOOSSSS

What's the last meal you want before you die?
Can I just have some paws? Not like eating them or anything, just... having them around my face I guess. Big paws.
If they're grizzly bear or lion paws or something, that might also explain why they're my 'last meal' x3

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
I drive a Saturn Letter Letter Number or something like that. Give me a Tesla Roadster though~

What is your most disliked bug?
Probably ants. I'd say spiders but the things don't swarm your floors endlessly if you leave a crumb of food and continue to invade despite going to extreme measures to block them out.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
When you call something 8-bit and it's just pixel art. UUUGH and I see it from actual games journalists who KNOW what 8-bit is and have probably played plenty of 8-bit games and should know that when a sprite has enough colors to make a SNES jealous it's NOT 8-bit.

What do you dislike in life?
People. And their opinions. Rant:

You see, an opinion is what happens when you take everything you've learned about something and apply that knowledge, think on it and come to a conclusion - what you believe to be the case about that particular thing. People all form their own opinions based on what they see and know, and since we can't EVER be expected to know every possible thing about every possible subject, many (if not all) of our opinions are based on very incomplete knowledge.
But here's where it all goes to hell. People treat opinions like they're on a team, fighting against people of other opinions. Let's say I think declawing a particular cat is a good thing because it's a menace and has caused a lot of pain and trouble to its owners and visitors because it's a horrible cat, and someone else thinks declawing any cat, including this one, is bad because it has negative physical and psychological effects on the creature. Now, instead of trying to communicate why we feel the way we do and listening to each other, the general way to go about this is to argue. We fling insults and debate like there's supposed to be a winner and a loser and NOBODY ever wants to be the loser.
Neither of us is going to accomplish anything, because when you're in a fight, you don't switch sides. I'm going to go on to say that the cat is either getting declawed or, if that's not the solution, it's likely going to meet a worse fate than that, as it's not fit to be a housepet. The other guy then shifts the argument to why it's such a bad pet, how it must be the owners' fault that the cat behaves that way, etc. See, the actual topic at hand never goes anywhere. Nothing is ever learned, nobody ever comes out more enlightened with strengthened or changed beliefs. We both come out of it thinking what we did before, and stronger in our conviction because now we feel threatened and we need to hold onto that belief harder because PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM US.

I mean really, do you see what I'm getting at here? It's ridiculous. We take those beliefs, those things we're actually fairly likely to be wrong about, and hold onto them like it's necessary. And why? Because we're afraid to be wrong. Like being proven wrong just undoes everything you've accomplished and learned in your life.

And this is why people get into massive wars over whose video game console is the best. Because he chose Xbox and she chose Playstation and neither is willing to admit they were wrong and accept that PC IS OBJECTIVELY BETTER SUCK IT NOOBS~~

WRT your rant about opininos and argument and stuff:

See also the OS wars (it goes way beyond PC/Mac/Linux, believe me xD), the editor wars (mostly in the *nix community), anything-related-to-software wars (Photoshop/GIMP, Blender/3DS Max/[insert 3D modeling software here], etc.), etc. :P

…and I definitely hear you about the whole "hating fun" thing…yeah, because flailing around and screaming like a banshee about how a bunch of guys managed to pass/carry a ball to the end of a field, and pummeling anyone who thinks the other group of guys should've done it on the other side…yeah, that's loads of fun… :y

(I know I'm making a generalization with that, but it does happen, and it just serves as an example of why I'm not into sports or other major public events xP)

Oh wow this Journal goes pretty deep. :3
I should get to know you better. XD

Didn't knew you already worked in the Game Industry. Congrats! <3

      Thanks~ ^^
I don't really consider myself a part of the game industry yet, mainly because I've never really been paid to make games or put out a game that's completed. Perhaps that will change soon~

Yeah, I know what you mean there. I've finished my studies but I'm still working on finishing a game myself. =3

Uguhgh I have the same problem with ants
Bait worked for a week, now they just ignore it, I can't even tell where they live because it's never a full trail, just a bunch roaming around trying to steal my food

Ants are resilient little twerps, it's true. D:

PC Master Race? PC Master Race. |> Modular multi-purpose and endlessly customizable consoles for the win.

Paws are sweet and all for a "last meal"... I'd spring for like, micros or something though. X3

As for that big final point in all seriousness, that's...something I've kinda been trying to articulate for quite awhile. People just get so nasty with each other and it ends up going nowhere because it's just a vicious cycle of perpetuated hatred and lack of consideration for the view points or opinions or backgrounds of others. It's very rare that there is an end-all right/wrong answer for any situation that will ever come up.

All in all, enlightening little mememe! :3
