There's something really exciting and invigorating about seeing a sea change in action. That's really what it feels like is finally happening, as people flow away from FA and the corruption and failure of its leadership.

Definitely, it's why I want to be more active here. If I don't focus any of my attention to this website, then what's to keep all these new users from leaving back to FA in a couple weeks? :V

Yeah, I've been trying to be actually -active- here, where on FA I was just a part of the faceless masses. I really want this shift to work!
I've also been contacting or leaving shouts for some of the lower-profile artists I like still on FA who haven't weighed in yet, asking them politely if they've got a Weasyl I can follow; not in any way forcing them to make a choice, just politely suggesting that there's people on Weasyl who would probably enjoy seeing their work.
If they decide to double down and say something shitty, well, then I know they're jerks and not worth watching anyway. I totally respect people who stay there or maintain a presence there for business reasons; if commissions is how you pay the bills and buy food, being conservative about risking that income is only good sense. On the other hand, over a third of FA's site traffic has already transferred and more is moving all the time, so it won't be long before it starts being a sound business decision to transfer primacy to Weasyl...

There needs to be a Weasyl notifier app for when furs comment or fav your stuff. So that way those on Smartphones can get pop ups saying "Foxyfluff Commented on your post 'Are foxy fluffs everything?'" Etc.
