My icon is by Cooner from gulp 2003! I really appreciate his artwork and need to commission more recent stuff from him :)

How does one make truffles? I will tell you:
Get a can of coconut milk, dump it in a pan.
Add two tablespoons of coconut oil.
Heat over low heat until it's all liquid and warm.
Remove from the burner.
Drop 500g (!!!) of dark chocolate into it. Small pieces is good. Should be 72% or darker. They sell huge bars like this at Trader Joe's.
Stir stir stir. Stir some more. Eventually, it will be melted.
Set the pan in the sink, and then cool it with some cold water (outside of the pan, natch). Wait for it to mostly solidify.
Take out spoonfuls and drop em on a sheet of wax/parchment paper,
and stick 'em in the freezer. The recipe says yield = 36.
Maybe take them out after a few minutes and roll them in cocoa powder?

Extra credit: put some brandy or other tasty liqueur in during the melting phase. Not too much. hic
