This is partially why I just stay the same on (most of) the art sites. I just don't see the point in changing my name unless I want to confuse people. That and some people might go "Hey this user is taking your stuff" and I'd be "Dude, I AM that user".

I've never seen it happen but I won't doubt that it's happened somewhere.
