That's what I was wondering as well! People seem to be talking about leaving FA and most of my watch-list keep making journals about having other accounts, or being more active here. And I'm sitting here wondering if I missed something. =O

Oh definitely! The accusations aren't really confirmed, as far as I can tell. I'm curious as to how this whole thing is going to resolve itself if at all, and if it's only going to further condemn FA's standing.

Well in terms of "the accusations aren't confirmed", it's the victim's word vs his. But then there's a lot of anecdotal evidence from other people he's done the same sort of thing to. :\ And, of course, there's 'neer's gross gross GROSS defense of it.

Ohh gosh I looked at the links the others have been providing and I understand now, yikes...It's anybody's guess why they'd make such a (stupid) decision and not expect some kind of repercussion, I mean come on. The fact that it's being defended it just makes it even worse. =/

The admins have and never had any form of large scale ability to realise what they're in charge of, how to manage it and the consequences of their actions. It's nutty.

Pretty much Dragoneer and others have hired a rapist as a coder and denies the fact this person is a rapist. Right now it seems a lot of people are being suspended for speaking against this.

man, I wonder where the accusations stemmed from? Is it pretty much 100% proven truth at this point? If it's just speculation, I can see why they'd be kinda harsh about it. But if it's like--on record that this dude's been charged with rape, then it's pretty gross and totally inexcusable :|

I'm not entirely sure if it is recorded or not, but it seems a lot of people are accusing him of being a rapist. It also seems very suspicious that the staff keep hiding all the comments about the whole thing.

ah...rape accusations are pretty serious. It's very important to do homework on making sure the accusations are founded...witch hunts and mob-mentality on such extremely sensitive issues are like a freight train, whether for a truthful cause or not.
I also was under the impression that it has been a long established rule that you're not allowed to publicly call out staff or admin on FA, and that all concerns with them are to be addressed privately through PMs...
I hope some altruistic internet detective sort might see it worth their time to turn up hard facts on the matter, for the sake of who ever happens to be the victim in all of this.-
Apparently he also has a rep of harassing female artists/furries and attempted to rape his ex from the things I've read. Triple-Shot posted a link that would explain the situation better than me. Zaush just in general doesn't have a very good rep.

I don't know if it's true about Zaush (the accusations come from FA having incompetently leaked all their PMs a few years ago) but the stuff about dragoneer protecting real life animal rapists is true.

As for dragoneer covering up for animal rapists, that goes years back and I'm not sure where to find the link now. I'm not sure why it's not common knowledge, but then again over the years I've watched people blow off really mindblowing incompetence and negligence by the furaffinity administration (including the notes leak, which to me was the second biggest reason I left FA).
The notes leak from years ago is how people found out this stuff about Zaush anyway, I don't know why it took this long for anyone to care.

The allegations are old, but the fact hewas made an admin based upon his stated ability as a Web Site front end coder, is what set things off, the banner announcement at the topof all the FA pages is where it started. Personally I am more worried about Project Phoenix being a failure than the allegations. Afterall he has not been charged or convicted, therefore posts and journals about those could be taken as Libel by the courts.

Augh, it makes me so angry too. Oh well, at least people are coming here too! If worst comes to worst, we'll all still be together in one place if it works out.
