Well thank you FA, it's lovely to know that your site is down and you have no clue why or what is going on. Chase is supposedly the main and only coder but he can't figure out why your own site is down? SERIOUSLY, no more donations, no more paid advertisement, no more hard earned money spent to a site that can't stay up. I'm sorry about being upset about this but seriously, what am I paying for?

I enjoy weasyl a lot more. Perhaps it's just a breath of fresh air or it's just so user friendly. Even after 6-8 years on FA i still struggle with finding things and navigating the site in an efficient manner.

I'm not trying to defend FA --believe me, it has it's problems-- and I use both sites, but it was down for maybe 20 minutes?
I'd wager that if Weasyl had even half of the user base FA had, we'd be seeing much the same thing here. But, that's just hypotheticals.

The problem is last time it was an entire week, no warning. As I posted this I had no clue how long it was down. How did I know it was down? I was grabbing a reference for a paid commission, it's irritating having to delay my work because of this.

I didn't find his comments transphobic but more just ignorant. There's nothing wrong with the way he thought other than being extremely stupid as the owner of a larger site. All in all he's been pleasant to interact with.

It can be frustrating that FA goes down without any reasom, 2013, I feel, was particularily bad in this regard.

It's back up now but I totally agree. How can a website, in 2014, be so shitty at handling just basic image and text submissions? It's a FEAT I say! I sincerely hope everyone moves to Weasyl. This site has way better features, more available usernames as well, and I have yet to see downtime from it. Ugh! WTF FA?
