I am now a business owner! The last day under the former owner was today and when I locked the doors 75 minutes ago it all became mine. I mean, I still have to hand over the $20,000 cheque tomorrow, but I do own it now. It being the tailor shop that I've been working at for the past 8 years.

It is all so exciting but very scary too. I am going sooooooo broke just paying all of the little government fees, utility fees, making new signs, renovating the new location, gotta pay moving guys tomorrow to haul everything over there... at least it is only the building on the other side of the one currently beside us. Still, I am gonna be here laaaaaate packing up and getting everything organized. (edit: I stayed until 2am, and came back at 8:45am. oy)

So, moving tomorrow, phone and debit/credit machine hookup and sign installation on Monday. Gotta buy curtains for the changing room "doors" and hem them. Gotta set up the new shop... maybe I will get a break before I open up again on Jan 2nd. XD I am so tired. lol

I will eventually be bringing home 2.5 or 3 times what I do now though, so that is good! Maybe in 5 years when my loan is paid off, I can get my own house or something.
