It is amazing how the activity here increases when FA is down and seeing so much new art is wonderful!!
I know many of you love FA but the nasty and slanted way the owner/mods deal with things over there makes it a site I can no longer deal with and have no respect for.
I hope many of you will remember this site even after FA comes back, whenever that might be.

I just wish one of these FA is down journals would have the lovely info that FA would never go back online...that place needs to die horribly...

I totally agree with you, I tried to work as an admin on FA. It will never improve just continue to drag on till they can't afford to host it. Weasyl maybe more quite but the quality of comments is far better, I also feel more relaxed but that maybe I don't have a past history of frustration relating to fighting other admins over BASIC professional manners.

Yes when I tried dealing with FA admins I got crap and anger and no help, here I get polite clear answers.

I know nothing will change as a result of the brownout. Furries with FA are like battered wives who refuse to leave their husbands who repeatedly punch them in the eyes, always screaming "I CAN'T LEAVE HIM! I LOVE HIM!"

It's certainly irritating to not be able to post or delete submissions and remain in a stagnant stage with no improvements. If it were a day or two I don't think it would be as frustrating, but remaining unmoving for a week is infuriating.
In regards to the wife beating comment- that is completely different and not a topic to joke about, please. -
The problem is all the activity seems to be on FA. I can't get away from it. No matter how much "drama" there is, no matter how much downtime it has, FA stands as one of the major hubs of furry activity, and I'd miss out on a lot if I wasn't there. When that changes, well, I'm already here.

I know, right? I just finished talking about that on a different journal with the same subject. I'd love to see the momentum around here pick up a little. I'd stop posting to FA entirely if it wasn't for me being reliant on getting most of my freelance work from there...
