Here's a bit of history on how I got here: 5 years ago today I was looking for a safer alternative than deviantart. I needed to find a safe place where I could get my art out there in peace, without any fuss and drama coming from haters. I was bullied, smeared, and framed pretty badly on deviantart all because I tried to defend myself against attackers, which sadly led to all that. Heck I even left the place when they went as far as hacking, doxxing and stealing, but anyway I'm not on there anymore. left for security and safety reasons. And while we're on the topic of deviantart, please be careful as anyone claiming to be me on deviantart is not me, but an imposter. So watch out for any creeps if you still use that hellhole of a site.

I remember the day when I was on the search for a new art site to migrate to. I was selective, very selective. I wanted to choose a place that doesn't allow callouts to happen, as smear campaigners had already damaged my rep enough with their constant lying and people getting the wrong idea about me (aaand it happened again this year.. 🙄 but eh, haters are stupid ╮(╯▽╰)╭) So I was looking into what site might be ideal for me and I was tryna do a bit of research into the places, and when I discovered weasyl, I joined hoping that it would be a safe place. Back when I was new, I was still very scared and nervous, but you guys made me feel welcome here so thank you ❤️‍🩹

So now I'm here! :D

Though I realise there are still some bad eggs in the community, but they usually don't bother me again once I block them. However there are some very toxic people who invade boundaries... There is a stalker on there called emeraldia who has been stalking me and stealing my ideas since 2019 now, and harassing not just me but other innocent people too. I made a beware on that, lately they wont leave me alone about my oc Sakura, especially when they made a knockoff version of her.

But y'know..forget the bad eggs on this site, everything else on here has been great! At least weasyl ain't as bad as deviantart or toyhouse, infact it's better than them! And I've made alot of good friends on here and came across alot of kind people who enjoy what I do, so I want to thank everyone for all your support all these years! ◠ω◠ 💛 Weasyl has been my #1 art site for a good long while now and I am so happy to be here with all my friends, fans, acquaintances, and cool people in general who have been super kind to me! >w<

Waaiit a minute.. Hazel, how will you be celebrating your 5th year anniversary?
Well..tbh? I dunno! XD But I do know a few things ^w^
First of all, I would like to say I will be sharing more kinds of works here! :D They will still remain kawaii and adorable as ever, but I'm branching out and gonna try and share more things that we all (including I) like! So there will be something for everyone ^w^ I also wanna thank those who helped me feel a bit more confident on doing so. you guys are great! ^-^
And today I might see if I can livestream! :D I will be drawing kawaii art like always ^-^
I was gonna release a fanart feature video but that might have to come a bit later sorryyy! didn't realise my half a decade anniversary was gonna be this soon! <X3
