I've been at home on vacation this week and the internet (via cellular/mobile hotspot for me, since I don't have home internet) has been at its worst of all possible connections. It used to be just slow (i mean, at least 1/3 of those Pokemon pics I posted last month I did via my mobile hotspot at home), but now I can barely do anything at all--this journal may or may not even exist when I hit submit--since artwork wasn't working. :/
I have tried for two days at different times and I cannot upload any new art on Weasyl or Toyhou.se--I either get timed out or a message saying that the "Weasyl submissions site" may not exist anymore. Clearly that's not true, since I'm still seeing other people posting submissions. @_@ I may have to just rely on when I'm at work to post things anymore........ sigh
Despite the world becoming 5G--my apartment complex has a lot of their own wireless transmitters peppered all over buildings for their own personal internet systems and their security cameras. There is literally one right above my door in my building. It's very sad that inside my apartment I get maybe 2 bars of connection on my phone, but I can walk 20 paces outside my door and get 5G connection. FABULOUS. headdesk
I guess I'll have a small pile of art that I'll post when I go back to work next week. Until then, I'll continue viewing art and commenting on my phone, which is only a tiny bit more reliable than my mobile hotspot. XD I did get a brand-new desk yesterday--I'm very excited to have a real, actual workspace now! Now I don't have to use my tray-table with large clipboard and a book to put under it, to draw on. chuckle I put it in a corner of my apartment that is both NEAR a window and UNDER a good overhead light.........so it'll be good for me to draw and write at. And, hopefully, it will be a bit more comfortable for trying to do some of my digital coloring (so that my neck and shoulders won't hurt so much from hunching over).
