Halloween! :D by Hazel3

What did you guys do for Halloween? ^-^ I went out public fursuiting for the first time!
I know going without a handler isn't recommended, as I've heard of fursuiters being harassed by rough peeps. But I guess I just got lucky that nobody was mean to me :3 But yeh, always bring a handler no matter what. I only went without one as nobody was gonna join me for halloween tonight. So there was just myself, but I had a good time, don't worry!
I was a little hesitant on visiting houses as I knew trick or treating wasn't suppose to happen this year. But there was this really cool decorated house and the person who owned it offered candy to all of us including me ^w^ One of the kids did look afraid of this big fluffy fox walking on hind legs, and I was about to choose some spicy crisps but I decided to trade it back for a different candy as I can't really eat spicy
But I almost lost my bag when I didn't realise I dropped it. Don't worry tho, I found it eventually UwU I also had a few compliments along the way! Someone said well done to me and the other said that they liked my costume which I was greatful for :D I don't think many people know what furries are where I live, as I think furries tend to be more commonly known in America
I feel fursuiting while the virus is still around might be the best time to gain more confidence in public suiting. As with the social distancing rules around, you wont have to worry too much about people coming over to pull your tail or anything. Still need to bring a handler tho, I almost lost my bag.. ^-^;
Once the virus is lifted or things start opening again, I'd love to go to furmeets and furry conventions! They honestly sound really fun and I'd love to have more furry friends, especially fursuiters X3
After that I went home and watched Casper, ehh it was an okay movie but I prefer Hotel Transylvania. I'm kinda glad I went back early cos I heard someone shouting and swearing outside 0-0; At least I'm safe inside my home.. <:3
I had a spooktacular Halloween and I hope you guys did too! :D

No hate comments, please be nice! If you're gonna be mean, don't say anything at all.
Thanks for reading! ^w^

I know what you mean--generally with a full work week, I'm too tired to do anything on my days off. I think this was the first time I played a game beyond 20 minutes to check on my "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" town. XD

          ooh, i have a 3ds too! ^w^ wanna add each other? :D
i also have the same game aswell as some pokemon games, tomodachi life, miitopia, and one of the mario kart games :3 i honestly think mii characters are pretty cool and i enjoy playing as them because i love being in a game where you can customize your character, and i especially love how you get a whole team of customisable characters in miitopia! and not to mention, different personalities too! i wish more games were like this

I could try, but I don't have home internet--so, it's rare that you'd see me online. I could try and fish out my Dream Address, though, so you can at least see my town. :) MY ACNL 3DS is also pretty old and doesn't hold a charge long anyways--so, 20 minutes at a time is the best I can do without playing-while-plugged-in! XD

There are starting to be more games like that. Where you design your own characters, I think because many series are moving towards MMO states of existence. I still mourn the fact that many companies don't believe "long hair" is an acceptable hairstyle for male characters--it's laughable that the "long-hair" for the male character in Pokemon Sword/Shield is...........just barely touching the shoulders! XD "Disgaea 5" introduced a slight bit of customizability in the characters you can hire, which was nifty--now you can change colors and personalities (though you can only pick from three--but it makes their dialogue when you speak to them in the Pocket Netherworld really hilarious sometimes!).

Handlers are also there to make sure you don't have heat stroke or fall off of somewhere, so do be careful fursuiting alone.

Conventions are pretty fun. I've been to Anthrocon and FA:United. Anthrocon is really big and overwhelming. It was interesting to see so many folks. I loved the food in the area. There is a lot to try from. AC was like a festival. FA:united was a lot smaller and more friendly-like I would say. More people all knew each other than at AC, and it was more like a lot of groups of friends getting together. It was a very interesting contrast from each other.

I didn't have any costume , and I am one of those that am at risk so I can't go out often anyways. I did get a halloween face mask, though, and wore some SPider Web pants (at the right time of year for once). Dressed up my characters instead. Good enough for me. I had an enjoyable halloween yesterday. OH ALSO halloween youtubes: https://youtu.be/erfmZ-Z1FHc

That's true, don't worry I'll be sure to bring a handler next time UwU
they sound amazing! but since I'm not american, the nearest by furry cons in the UK is Scotiacon and Confuzzled. they sound like good fun too! I hear Confuzzled is big and epic while Scotiacon is smol 'n' cozy, I've seen Pocari's video about it and I'd love to go to both sometime!

heh, good old Spongebob X3 here's one of my favourite halloween scenes! bleh bleh bleh =D
