Welp, what am I supposed to do? I made a Comic Cover as Practice art for Sin with no STory for it to be followed up with since it was Practice. X') I can't post it without a story, it just doesn't feel right.


Cover art is a general type of art and the only things I can think of are not a coherent story but random short stories. Although I like making SHort stories, I HATE reading them, so I don't want to really make short stories without reason. >.> But.... but...


What on earth should I do?


(Whispers to self: You should write some think thoughts, maybe grab some suggestions on various themes and ideas.)

    There are some pretty good books on how to make comics, the first that comes to my mind is "Stan Lee's How to Write Comics" by Stan Lee. He goes into depth how to write the stories for comics, not just for superhero comics. Also "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud goes through explaining the medium really well. Hope this helps.

      Oh no, its not that I don't know how to write comics, I made a cover as practice with comic-specific brushes with no type of Comic to come after it. Now I feel bad I made a cover art with no story to pair with it.

    You could always keep it for a later work or reference if you don't want to use it to make a comic.
