Update:- Tumblr's Dead, Newgounds and other stuff. by Samurai_Canine
Boy I haven't made a journal entry in ages....I might update my journals more often to keep more active with my audience on here.
Anyway time for me to cut right to the chase of why I'm writing this status so I'm sure you've heard that Tumblr done shit itself and killed a good portion of its userbase by flagging and taking down a lot of blogs that are NSFW and even flagging posts that aren't NSFW. It's upsetting because I've used my Tumblr blog to post sketches and unfinished art for a long while now. However there is a silver lining to all this. Considering many NSFW artists are moving to Newgrounds and are posting there I'm going to be posting a lot on there considering I have a lot of drawings that I need to post on there to update my gallery. I'm going to be doing the same with my Pixiv gallery as that's also been unfortunately neglected for the past couple of years. I've been needing to post more places especially where I can post more adult work as well as I also post on my FurAffinity, SoFurry, InkBunny and here. Sadly DeviantART doesn't allow a whole lot when it comes to adult or lewd art because of the restrictions on there.

Hopefully 2019 will be a much more active year for me in terms of art compared to last year where I did post quite a bit here and there I wasn't as active as I wanted to be. So I hope to post more and maybe get more and be more active with my audience.
Also one last thing I want to quickly discuss as this is something that's been on my mind. I've wrote about this before but I've wanted to change my online alias because I wanted to rebrand myself online because I feel the name that I've used for years "Ardhamon" has some weird baggage to it considering it's a name of a Digimon (a Japanese version of that name mind you) and the only reason I've used this name was because it was a name that I used on a Digimon forum years ago. Granted it was Ardhamon5000 but still...I'm thinking or renaming and rebranding myself. On other places like Furaffinity I've named myself Samurai_Canine but I'm not sure about that name either. I'll have to look and see honestly.
Anyway that's all folks have a happy 2019.

Thanks so much!! I really appreciate the help!! I'll definitely look into Postybirb as that would really help with posting stuff that I need multiple tabs open for usually haha!

Welcome back to Weasyl. It is always nice to see people return. You have a lot of places to post. May I suggest Postybirb so that you can keep up on all of em at once? It works for all of em you talked about.
It is a bit sad that DA is so restrictive with NSFW art. The worst part is that they have an 18+ filter with "Sexual" as a selector, but they don't actually allow 18+ sexual themed art (They just mean sexy or fetishy). I've already watched a butt ton of NSFW artists not realize that and get flagged over on DeviantArt before I could warn em.
On your Username, if you need it changed you can send a note to
one of the site admins.When you feel comfortable with people "Calling you/Naming you" by that name, let them know if you would want to change your username here on Weasyl.
