Considering Uploading Here Again! by Ausup
Hey ya'll~!
I'm just wondering if there's still anyone around here still.
We've reached this odd scenario in the furry world where there isn't a single highly populated gallery-website left.
I look at Fur Affinity and it's like a dystopian future society - about a fraction of the user base is still active, and a small fraction at that. So I decided to check it back here, but it seems to be going the same direction.
I don't want to stick to uploading art/commissioning through Twitter so I was wondering if it'd be worth the effort making this my main gallery, and if you guys would still care to see my art.
So let me know!

Yeah~ I'm definitely not doing the 'art dump' sort of thing.
Agreed though! Have you ever tried using those cross-poster scripts? If they're still around that's exactly what they do for you - allow you to upload something once and display it on multiple galleries :3

I know of the scripts, but I've never used them! I create things so rarely that individual uploads on different sites are not too much hassle, and since a lot of my work has been stories, that adds additional complications since not every site handles stories the same way.

Yeah, I can understand that. I think I might to it manually, but set a day to really split all the files into folders, write a description to accompany it and then just post everything in nicely timed intervals. Basically have an actual game plan.

I'm getting right back on it. Working on nothing but Telegram stickers right now, just because there was so much interest. But I'm using it as a stepping stone ^^

Fur Affinity still seems moderately active, but yeah, for some odd reason, none of the sites are as active as they used to be. Not sure where folks are going. But yep, still watching stuff here all the time - I check it just as often as any other site.

I think it's best to upload your artwork to a couple different places, rather than relying on one hub. Downside is it means a little more work in getting things out there, but it also means you're not dependent on one site alone. That said, I have been using this site as my main gallery and source of artwork for a couple years now.
In the end, it can't hurt to upload. See what happens. What I would recommend though is not uploading a lot of art at once, but to space it out over time.
