Some Entertainment: A Bus is Stuck by Uluri

Let me entertain you with how my morning is going so far. Ice rain happened, and it's super thick. There is a Bus stuck outside our house this fine, icy morning. The 2 hour delay was called out way too late, and some buses didn't get the memo. I've been watching them bring in Multiple Plow Trucks trying to get this bus unstuck. Why do they need so many plow trucks? It's been about an hour since the bus was stuck on the ice. Everyone is kinda scattering around trying to think of ideas on how to get it out without getting stuck themselves.

And that is this morning's Entertainment section.

Note: No accidents have occurred in this situation. All people involved are all right so far. The bus just can't move forward or backwards.

Update: Some idiot just ran through the area in a truck. They have traffic blocked here. My gosh.

Update 2: there is now a Cherry Picker??? WHY?! Oh, it went past. THE BUS IS FREE and it's made it over the hill! But Why??? Total time stuck- 1 hour and 30 minutes

    Opens mouth to speak, closes it again.
    ...I'd probably have more to say if I lived in a place where it actually snowed. Sounds rough, though.

      I stepped outside expecting it was just a glazing of ice, but it was more like a Two Quarters thick sheet of ice over everything.
      The roads, the grass, the trees. It's finally melting now that the sun is kinda out now. Could barely stand in place to try to
      listen to the going ons where the bus was at he time.

        Yep, that sounds rough (or smooth?). Either way, good thing it's clearing up!

    We had rain yesterday, which froze up overnight--so everything that was wet yesterday was ice this morning. I know how you feel.... chuckle

      Oh, It's really neat to see how frozen rain looks on the sleeping plants, I think. Did you get icy plants?

        It was pretty sparkly on the grass...there aren't many growing plants around here yet. We also got a light dusting of snow overnight...so it was almost like frosting on a cake! XD

    Meanwhile, here at the coast of Virginia the snow was but a distant dream and I saw someone jogging in shorts this morning xD

      I remember a few years ago when me and my sister and cousin were out having a sort of water war--in the middle of January. This year's a bit more like winter, but Florida does what it wants.
