Sneely is an odd creature. Found by Elly after... helping to renovate a laboratory that was conducting illegal and unethical research, Sneely is one of a kind. It seems to be very loving and loyal to those that are nice to it, but it... is really clumsy and tends to hyper focus on shiny objects or things it finds interesting and forgets about everything else around it. Due to this fact, Elly and company had a hard time keeping it in the house and hydrated, as it would wander down the street, through the city and forget about its own safety. After a while, they decided to put a tracking device on its collar (which would frequently go missing) and had one implanted against a cartilaginous growth in its body.

Sneely is allowed free roam in the house, but typically stays in the bath all the time (aside from when it gets distracted). Though all members of the polycule love Sneely, Jenny seems particularly fond of it and will occasionally be found snoozing in the bath with Sneely nearby.

    I do think it is really cool that this site has a character section as well. What are the main uses or is it just good way to introduce them to people?

    I'm curious because I have never seen a site with this feature before and I'm new.

      Welcome to weasyl. The character pages are a great way to give pertinent information to people. And the image doesn't have to be the same, so if you update refs, you can change it to the new image without creating a new submission. :3

        Oh that is pretty cool, I draw some of my characters a lot, but probably would only update if I had got a lot better.

        Thanks so much for explaining that for me. Since its a funky feature. Do they appear along side your other submissions on your page? Or do you pick which ones are more obvious on your profile?

          I have my characters displayed on my page because I don't do any of the visual artwork myself. But yes... Characters are featured under a different tab on your profile regardless. They even have a tab for it. :)
          Though, I meant more so if you updated a character's reference sheet, not did more art of them. Only the image you are using as a reference will be shown for the character, so if you have a favorite piece, or an actual ref sheet, that's what I recommend using. You can also submit the artwork itself as a different submission, which I actually recommend as well, because you may update the characters image at a later time, so the original file will no longer be in your gallery otherwise.

            Thanks for that, I think I have it figured and I actually really like the feature. I have a lot of characters who I like to draw, but I also have random art also. So yeah, it seems like a nice touch!
